Description: RE:Alignment (part of the RE:Connection series) is composed of discarded Douglas fir, poplar, and birch wood pieces that have been reclaimed and repurposed as fine art. This series is meant to interconnect with each other as part of a larger installation, or to stand alone. The flowing placement of the different colors is inspired by the natural growth patterns of the material. The imperfect nature is then brought to order by the confines of the circular form.
